This is Castle Mound. It may mean little except to Jennifer Espino (Hunt) who e-mailed saying that many years ago she spent many hours down the Embankment and Castle Close Mound! It's still there, and youngsters often play there. Nearby are two popular museums which are visited many days of the week.
